The Asheville Jazz Orchestra can lend a touch of class to your private event, whether it's a coporate party, wedding reception, or swing dance.
The AJO specializes in performing dance music from the big band era, but can just as easily get your guests dancing to beach music and rock 'n' roll when it's time to change things up.
Clubs and Concerts
If you're looking for a band to play your club date or formal concert, the Asheville Jazz Orchestra is ready to play your show.
Performances can range from tribute concerts to the great big bands to a performance of all original music. Annual performances include Christmas jazz and patriotic concerts.
Educational Outreach
The AJO is proud to be partners with the Asheville Jazz Council, a 501c3 devoted to promoting jazz education, performance, and composition in western North Carolina. Through their partnership with the AJC, the Asheville Jazz Orchestra has performed at high school and college music festivals as featured performers and clinicians.
